Andrew K. Shotwell
Andrew K. Shotwell, a native of Tawas City, Michigan, graduated the University of Michigan in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. Mr. Shotwell received his Juris Doctorate cum laude from the Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York in 2001.
Mr. Shotwell is admitted to practice law in all state courts and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association. Mr. Shotwell is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Section, as well as the Elder Law Section. He has also received a Certificate of Completion in the areas of probate and estate planning issued by the Michigan Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Probate and Estate Planning Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Shotwell is a past-president and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Friends of the Traverse Area District Library and is an active volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Michigan. Mr. Shotwell is also an active member of the Traverse Bay Sunrise Rotary Club, being elected to its Board of Directors in 2008.
Mr. Shotwell currently resides in Leelanau County with his wife Sarah Littlefield and their daughters, Amelia and Ava. Mr. Shotwell’s areas of practice include estate planning, probate, elder law, business, commercial, intellectual property and civil litigation.
