Patient privacy is, obviously, critical. Disclosure of a patient’s medical information (billing and treatment), however, is vital to a provider’s collection efforts. In order to ensure full HIPPA compliance with patient privacy and to enable the provider to employ all resources at its disposal (including retention of legal counsel or other collection agency methods), our law firm routinely assesses and where necessary, revises or drafts patient financial responsibility forms that address these important concerns and goals.
